[edit] Introduction

This assumes you have installed and configured MIP as part of installing a job submission gateway (NG2) server as per the instructions given on this page.

Software definitions in MIP consist of two parts:

  1. References to ARCSGLUE xml files in /usr/local/mip/config/softwareInfoProvider.ini
  2. The definitions themselves, as ARCHSGLUE xml files stored in /usr/local/mip/modules/apac_py/SubCluster/softwareInfoData/
